For 4th consecutive year, our partner Innovation Starter organizes the most prominent innovation event in Bulgaria: “Innovation State of Mind: Food for Thought”
Innovative leaders from the ranks of Google, Amazon, SpaceX, Facebook, Microsoft, SoftServe and Begital among others, will present the latest and finest keynotes in five domains: Creativity, Open Innovation, Disruptive Innovation, Social Innovation, New Product Development.
Innovation Explorer will take place on 22th of February 2018, from 8:30 to 19:00, at Sofia Event Center.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from innovation leaders. We specially invite you to take part in Begital CEO Levent Korkmaz‘s workshop on “science-functional strategic design” and experience the power of imagination from science-fiction literature and movies.
A SCIENCE-FUNCTIONAL STRATEGIC DESIGN
13:00 – 14:00, HALL 2
From Digital Renaissance to Transhumanist Regulations: Hyperconnectivity and Technological Singularity, Global Governance, Human Evolution and Science-Functional Ethics
Transhumanism, Singularity, Global Brain, Gaia and Technologies of the Self explained with examples from Science-Fiction and Fantasy literature and movies.
- Digital single body: society living and working in a sustainable global economy
- Digital single mind: hyperconnectivity and perfect knowledge of all transactions and facts
- Digital single heart: data as emotional currency that allows perfect care for one another
- Digital single soul/consciousness: global self-awareness of humanity (and nature) according to the concept of Gaia as a planetary consciousness (Isaac Asimov) and Michel Foucault’s technologies of the self applied to the whole humanity
The workshop is suitable for:
- For anyone who is interested in humanity/fate/future/creative thinking/imagination/inspiration/brain stimulation and those who wish to proactively engage in digital leadership/transformation/innovation/evolution or social change/sustainable development
- Those who are afraid of alien invasions and scared of the future are also welcome and will be handled with care.
- Not recommended for radical monotheists and those who did not watch the Matrix or the Star Trek (yes, the Enterprise is also a spaceship model).
ABOUT LEVENT KORKMAZ
After masters and postgraduate research in international trade theory and computer simulation modelling for economic development policy (which he dropped after discovering chaos theory and emergence of self-organisation) Levent moved to a business career during the dot.com collapse as strategic planning consultant and business intelligence expert at Compaq CRM Center of Excellence.
From business strategy and KPI performance management he moved to functional implementation of business processes, database management, platform design and architecture.
He worked as database and process analyst/auditor/engineer and CRM architect for multinationals such as Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia and AkzoNobel, while working independently or at Onboard. Levent has also introduced digital capacity and Salesforce CRM for fundraising, community and donor management into many non-profits and charities like Amnesty International, Christian Aid, United Cities and Local Governments of Africa, European Venture Philanthropy Association, European Sustainable Investment Forum, Lisbon Council, Royal Parks Foundation, Trust for Social Achievement, Digital Leadership Institute and Project Management Institute Bulgaria Chapter.
Currently he’s implementing and coaching a new generation of digital enterprise practices and capacity building at Begital and SoftServe while evangelizing digital transformation/evolution. Levent is also serving on the board of PMI Bulgaria Chapter, as vice president for membership.
